Zenitech delivers automated digital monitoring for the 68m deep underground excavation of the "caisson" parking lot at Nanhu Central Plaza!

Since August 2023, Zenitech has been providing automated digital monitoring services for the "caisson-type" parking lot project at Nanhu Central Plaza.

Following the summer season, the vertical shaft tunneling machine at Nanhu Plaza was successfully assembled and lowered into the shaft, marking the imminent commencement of formal excavation for the caisson parking lot. The project plans to construct two caissons as underground parking garages, providing a total of 200 parking spaces. Each caisson has an inner diameter of 12 meters, a cross-sectional area of 113.04 square meters, and an excavation depth of 68 meters. The construction site covers an area of 1,430 square meters. The overall structure consists of 25 underground parking levels and 3 above-ground levels.

With an excavation depth reaching 68 meters, it is imperative to continuously monitor for tilting and deformation during both the construction process and subsequent maintenance. This is especially critical during the sinking of the caisson and the correction process, as it ensures vertical sinking and effectively prevents unexpected accidents. Therefore, promptly detecting and addressing these issues is key to ensuring construction safety and the smooth progress of the project. Zenitech's fully automated monitoring equipment, paired with our proprietary monitoring data platform, provides real-time tracking of all critical data during construction, fully meeting the project's requirements.
